Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennett
4.0
Like the rest of the series, this is deeply creative and full of fascinating ideas. The moral of the story isn't exactly subtle, but it's a beautiful concept. The stakes are even higher than before, and there's a lot of grief and sadness. It really could be about 30% shorter, in my opinion - just tightened up throughout. But it's a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
