Two and a half stars. I was expecting more since this is Katee Robert. I would have liked some more world building and backstory, which I know she's great at. We jump right into the story in the first scene and things get hot right away, which is her style, but I never felt like I got a good understanding of the characters' motivations. There are many intense sex scenes, which I enjoyed but there wasn't much emotional involvement in the sex, which is another thing she's so great at. I'll move on to the next book, because I'm curious about what happens to Mina next.
