Don’t like to say this so early on in the year, but this is going to be one of my standout reads of 2024. From start to finish this had me hooked, and the pull got more intense as I got further in.
A love story. A coming-of-age story. A thriller. A police procedural. All the Colours of the Dark ticks all the boxes, and that could have been messy…but this was one of those reads that just became more satisfying the deeper into it I got.
Patch and Saint are, without doubt, the stand-out characters in this, but so many of the other characters featured in its pages are memorable. As I closed the pages I felt more than a little choked.
This is going to be one of those books that I’ll urge people to read. Each will take something different from it, but it is a book that will leave its imprint on you. Just beautiful!
