 I'm not saying I get it but after six months in lockdown I get it.

I'm also pleasantly surprised by how experimental and unsettling this little story was. I'll admit I walked into the story with a lot of background about why the author wrote it which might have helped but there's something very... nefarious in the prose. There's an earnestness to the psychosis which has held up over time.

I'll definitely be rereading this - and I'm willing to wager this is going to get stuck in the back of my head when I'm trying to sleep tonight.
