I know that Little Women is LMA's most famous novel, but I love Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom so much more! While it does drop into the moralizing that the author is fond of, it isn't near as heavy-handed as some of her other novels. Rose is a sweet charming character, and I love all the boy cousins. The many different Aunts, living on the Aunt-hill, make a nice funny contrast, and I just adore this book!
