There were a few times in this book where I thought my very soul was leaving my body. You know that part in novels where the author writes about the character making that high pitched whine? That was the sound I made, especially over the attic scene. I think I cried at some part. I'm probably going to have nightmares of that scene for a long time. Also, fuck every single man in this book, and I wanted them to die right along with the villain. It would have made this book 100 times better.
