The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

4.0

This was a pretty good read. The start was a bit slow and I felt like it was going to be a slog to get through the book, but as soon as the mystery started to evolve I needed to know what happened next.

The change in narrators provided a good way to slowly develop the story, giving away clues at vital moments.

At some point towards the end of the novel, I knew who did it but there was always that question in the back of my mind if someone else was involved.

The characters were all annoying and the narrator unreliable, but it added to the story. Unlikeable characters does not mean they are bad characters and does not mean they do not play the role they must for the story to be good and intriguing.
