Non dirmi che hai paura by Giuseppe Catozzella

4.0

This book was simply beautiful. The author does a very convincing job of stepping into the shoes of a young Somali woman, aspiring Olympic runner, and eventually, refugee. The story gripped me from the beginning. The book sheds light on some grim realities: war-torn countries, Islamic extremism, and refugees who, desperate for a better life, must rely on smugglers and horrendous conditions in order to have a chance at escape.
