Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert

2.0

Gilbert's book is a light read and, in that respect, enjoyable. However, I don't feel like he really connects all the studies and theories he lays out very well, especially as it relates to happiness. They are vaguely linked and the conclusion doesn't seem to tie up any loose threads, which is funny because in the penultimate chapter he discusses how bad endings color one's entire perception of something even if 98% of it was pleasurable.
