All's Well by Mona Awad

3.5

3,5 ⭐️ One thing about Mona Awad is that she'll write about the most on-the-edge, unhinged women losing their grasp on reality. And me? Oh, I'm gonna eat it up every time!

The writing is impeccable, like any Awad's books. And this story won't be to everyone's taste, like any Awad's books. It's weird, open to interpretation, sometimes a bit difficult to follow. Yet it's readable in a sort of compulsive way, almost like a thriller. You're losing it with the main character, which I loved.

But in the end, I'm not sure what I'm left with, after finishing this book. Though I like an open ending, I'm unclear about what this story, as a whole, was trying to tell me, and I don't see myself going back to it a lot.

Still, overall, it was a fun, engrossing read, and Awad is definetely on my "automatic-buy" list now!
