As much as I wanted to like/enjoy this book there was something missing. I’m not sure if it was the chosen one trope that I’ve read too many times before or what. I know people have said this book is fast paced but for me it dragged on, I definitely had to push myself to get to the 43% mark. I normally DNF books earlier but the hype made me want to like the book. Maybe at another time I’ll give it a try but currently it didn’t peak my interest enough.
