Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Bregman

I’m going to take the advice offered in this book and not be embarrassed or try to hide the fact that I align myself to this viewpoint because I fear others will call me naive. So what. I’ll be naive.

Some of his arguments were weaker than others and I think there’s a lot more to be said about the way conflict is reinforced in our society. The fact that it feels like a rebellion to say people aren’t inherently evil is proof that we have some ways to go. But I love the framing and the philosophy.
