Unenjoyable. I was intrigued after seeing the trailer for the upcoming film and because I'd been meaning to read some Dostoyevsky for a while, but found this novella a real struggle to get into. The main character was highly unsympathetic and the author's voice really bizarre. At least it was free from project gutenberg!
