I really wanted to like this and I think with a bit more editing I would have. Unfortunately, one of my pet peeves when it comes to dialogue in books is when an author does “blah blah blah” she/he/they screamed over and over and over. Especially when they’re not actually screaming but shouting  mg or yelling or whatever. There’s a difference and for some reason it really bothers me.

Besides that the book was alright. There was something about it that I can’t put my finger on that made it hard to suspend my disbelief. Potentially the dialogue again. And the sex was ok, though it was a bit jarring when he started calling her little girl.
