Okay. Here’s the thing. I have been PUSHING myself to get through this book. I kept having to go back and restart the first few chapters because I was barely engaged and not really paying attention. I told myself I would get to at least the 30% mark before DNFing, and by that point, there was enough holding my interest that I kept on reading. But at this point, I barely care about what happens and for some reason I am just now realizing that this is the first book in a duology and just… absolutely not. I am not forcing myself to finish this book knowing full well I probably won’t even read the sequel!
