Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie

3.0

House of leaves meets Paranormal activity told completely through mixed media

This is the equivalent of one of those found footage horror movies that are scary and you have a good time but you instantly forget about it

The final 150 pages were exactly what I wanted - an unhinged descent into madness with really creepy imagery. But ultimately the ending was strange and didn’t land

3.5/5

The audio book has a full cast and is fully produced with sound effects and music. But they sometimes went too far and it was distracting/too much. It definitely at points added a lot to the story and other points it really distracted from the story.
