This book was so cute and adorable and reminded me that I love Kasie West books. I thought I wasnt going to vibe with the plot: girl winning the lottery and her life changes, but I liked how it was told.

Maddie had good intentions but she was very naive and I wish her parents hadn’t been so caught up in their own drama that they could have been there for her to help guide her with what to do with this money. That’s mainly the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. She was just so concerned with making other people feel better and wanting to help or treat others that she didn’t realize she was letting things slip through the cracks or getting on talking to that financial advisor they brought up when she first won the money.

Her and Seth’s relationship was so cute though. I had a feeling that he knew about what happened the whole time but never brought it up cause he was waiting for her to. He was just so incredibly sweet and kind. And I loved that they both worked at the zoo and he’d been secretly requesting to work with her for the last 6 months.
