this mafia romance book was INDEED mafia romancing. King gives off the ultimate⛓❤‍🔥 MY WIFE ❤‍🔥⛓☆*:..｡.energy.｡.:*☆. King does not let a single person disrespect Savannah without paying for it. King does not let anyone harm or hurt her without making them pay for it. King worships his wife and gives her everything she wants and needs without Savannah even asking for it. i'm SUCH a sucker for a man with a dog 🐕 and please do not get me started on the NICKNAMES in this series.

😈savannah has such a fun little attitude, I saw myself a lot more in her than I saw myself in sweet and kind Peyton in Nero. I love that Savannah pursued her own career and passions despite her family not being supportive. she didn't just keel over and start groveling for king; this woman absolutely made him put in the WERK to win her over. She found her own supportive and proud family within King, Payton, Ginger, DUKE THE BIG GENTLE GIANT, and even Nero 🥺 duke absolutely loving Savannah was such a cherry on top of the sundae. I'm so happy Nero was in this book so much because his "friendship" with king is absolutely hilarious and made me audibly cackle.

the fmc's in these books are all plus size and written in a way where it's just normal for them, not in a way where they are fighting to love their body every other page. yes, they have tummies and thick legs and get chub rub when they walk in shorts for too long (iykyk). she's got moments where she's like "well i'm naked and chubby in front of this man built like a brick wall but it is what it is" but hating her body and the way she looks is not EVER mentioned. it's so refreshing to see a plus size fmc that accepts herself and doesn't make hating hers looks her whole personality. or doesn't need a hot man to like her for her to think shes hot.

this may be a bit TMI but i swear i never see big 🍒boob🍒 appreciation like i did in this book LMFAO. like i'm sorry i do not have the best butt but MAN do i have some nice boobs so King absolutely salivating over them and the way they feel and bounce and move made me SCREAM because i only ever see ass appreciation!!!

i usually rate mafia/mob/crime lord romances high because i'm usually in a very specific mood to read them, so i know exactly what i'm getting myself into. these aren't pullitzer prize books but they're so fun, entertaining, HOT, and fast paced. the smut scenes in this book WERE. SMUTTING it wasn't extremely k!nky or dark scenes but MAAAAAN were they all good and DIFFERENT. i cannot stand when i feel like i'm rereading the same scene every time they f*ck.
