This was definitely a dark Beauty and the Beast retelling. I did do the audio which may have not been the best choice (it was and it wasn’t cause I never would have said any of the names right lol). Sometimes I found myself a little confused with what was going on cause there was quite a bit of storytelling in this book and I wouldn’t realize right away that we are being told something. But I liked the idea and the vibe of the story. Throughout the whole book I couldn’t tell if she was going to love or kill the “beast”, I kept changing my mind.
