This was an ultra sweet continuation in the When in Rome series. I was very much looking forward to this book after meeting our hero and absolutely adoring Annie in book one.

Will & Annie had the best banter— especially her various nicknames after assuming his full name was William and he questioned that (ie. Wilson, Wilfred, Williamson). The chemistry and tension between these two was simmering and built the angst.

“It seems to me, Annie, that you are just waiting for someone to give you permission to be yourself out loud.”

The way Will loved Annie wholly as herself, even through her journey of wanting to be more adventurous and exciting. Plus it always gets me when the entire small town bands together in the end in support of this couple. Cue the tears🥹

I can’t wait for the next book in this series to fall in love with.
