I always like knowing/reading the source material for shows based on books. Usually, the book does it better. That’s uh, not the case here. I think the show greatly improves on some of the book’s flaws (like droning on about crap that just isn’t important).

Now, I’ll give the book props for giving you the “inside” details to characters thought processes. It was interesting to see what personal motivators they had etc. 

Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. Will definitely jump into part 2. I think it’s a good supplement to the show if you really want to “dive into” the entire story.
