I've been wanting to know more about Johann (Jay) since he showed up in book 2 and I finally got my wish! Jay is a precious cinnamon roll! And OMG! I loved him! He is such a ray of sunshine despite traumatic events and neglect in his past. And Alexei! Alexei is a mobster who isn't sweet to anyone but Jay and it was adorable! I loved them together! 

It is also adorable how all our vampire couples are creating a new den around Jay and I can't wait to see how that plays out long term and who else gets added to the family. I am intrigued by a new character from Jay's old den and can't wait to read his book next!
