It's taken me a while to write this review, mostly because I jumped straight into Our Dark Duet and then I needed some time to process the duology.

This Savage Song is beautiful, magical, gritty and breathtaking. It's seeped in violence, has characters that steal your heart and a world so richly described you can feel the danger on the page.

Easily one of my favourite stories of all time.
