Even though this is the first book in the Shifting Hearts Dating App series, I felt like a lot of prior context was needed to understand the world this book is centered in.
Sure, it's just another shifter romance at it's core, so you don't need that much to go off on, but with the inclusion of incubi, succubi, and Greek gods and goddesses, I wouldn't mind some further world-building, or at least it being made clear which book or books I'm meant to read prior to this.
Outside of that, I wasn't too big of a fan of the random misogyny—from the love interest himself (his persistent flirting the moment he meets the Demi, the way he says "And here I thought you were one of those brainless Goth chicks Hades usually invites," how he constantly calls Demi "Cupcake," etc.) or from any random asshole characters (whatever was going on with Lawrence in that one chapter, or the cheating that was going on in Ch. 10).
Was expecting something far more lighthearted with how short this book was. Now I just feel skeeved out.
