I really enjoyed this memoir. I listened to the audiobook and it was very well produced and narrated. The nuance and emotion and intensity was felt as Jada narrated her story.
What I enjoyed most was that she told her story without telling other’s stories: like her mom or her kids or Will. I loved that. It’s very well written.
I also really enjoyed the gongs and points to think about myself at the end of chapters. It’s very grounding.
