The love interest adds significant depth to the story. The themes explored, such as grief, torture, self-empowerment, and equality, resonate powerfully. Overall, I appreciate how The Gilded Ones concludes while effectively setting the stage for the next installment in the Deathless Trilogy, The Merciless Ones.
