A solid read with a ton of different deep emotions. The voice throughout is clear and beautiful. It really felt like an in-depth conversation with the author. I found many moments very relatable which added to the experience as a whole. That reliability adds to the grounding feeling of the poetry collection. I love how James does not shy away from embarrassment or taboos. I love the photo poem in particular as its tone was especially moving.
