This book was.... unreal!! I honestly came from the smutty with one of my favourite tropes of sunshine and grumpy.... BUT it was so much better!!! SO MUCH!!!! About half way through the book, I no longer cared about the smut, all I cared about was for these two beans dealing with their trauma and getting the love they both deserve! I love how Olu and Griff both had distinct voices and issues that they had to process. And it was so beautifully done giving time to each of them. Hibbert did such an amazing job dealing with the heavier topics in a sensetive way and gave each character time to process them.
I just really really loved this book and do plan to buy it one day! It is absolutely worth having a spot on my shelf.
In regards to Bingo 2023, I picked this for the cover and damn it was worth it!!!
