Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard Atwater, Florence Atwater

4.0

It's a short, yet ambrosial read, and the adorable plot is magic to read. It's rare that a book from over seventy years ago can still enchant children with the fanciful tale of Mr Popper, his long suffering wife, his cherubic kids, and the twelve penguins who are the undeniable stars of the well-made show.
