This was a fun book and had good humour! I liked the characters and the setting. The banter between Breanna and Matthew was endearing. 

I was confused at how/why Breanna was with Will in the first place. He didn’t seem to care about her faith or anything else. It wasn’t in line with her character. 

The last part of the book, after the big reveal, felt a little much and kind of redundant. It took away from the novella in my opinion. More of a realistic segue into Breanna and Matthew would have been preferred. 

This was a good Christmas read and would probably make an interesting Hallmark movie.
