The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan
5.0
When I was about thirty pages into this book I realised why I enjoy Rick Riordan's books so much. Well, there's two reasons. The first being the fact that all the different gods are living simultaneously, even in death everything actually exists. The amount of lessons some people could learn from these books... The second thing being the fact that the children are basically the heroes. It even shows adults (and even adult GODS) not always being right!!! If anything, these stories make me feel immensely powerful and ready to do the impossible. It's children who are brave, wise and strong. If that doesn't make you (a child) feel even slightly empowered, then I don't know what will.
(above all this series???? especially the second book MATE it's so good, more people need to get on it immediately, IT'S SO MUCH FUN)
