At first I wasn’t expecting much because all the characters seemed one dimensional. But as it progressed, it became apparent that this was the main characters perception. It ended up being a really fantastic study of how people struggle with emotions and relationships especially after facing hardship. Tbh some dialogue and behaviours by the characters were cringy but I can forgive that because of how well the author seems to understand human connection.
