Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah

4.0

This was really, really good! Listening to Trevor read the story really took it to another level. I gained some really interesting knowledge of South Africa and what race looks like there, because, admittedly, I don’t know much about the country. It has Trevor’s trademark humor combined with insightful observations about his childhood—from his experience of race and racism, abuse, colonialism and apartheid. It’s really well done and I would highly recommend it!
