Night of the Dragon by Julie Kagawa

5.0

This is the third and final part of the Shadow of the Fox trilogy and it does not disappoint.
This is one hell of a story that delivers on all fronts. It's not very often that I feel myself welling up when reading a book, but there are several scenes in this one that really pull on the heartstrings, all of which is down to characters that are so well written that you just can not help feel for them as their various fates unfold.
Also, the climactic events surrounding the "Dragons wish" took me by surprise with a twist I was not expecting.
The Epilogue was also nicely done giving a satisfying finish to the story without being too predictable or condescending.
