I was surprised how much I liked this book. It has a wonderful found family which I loved. Plus I was really rooting for the main character. While she did unlikeable things I didn’t find her unlikeable if that makes sense. There are lots of situations of 2nd hand embarrassment in the book but I could endure it. I just found the book such a great read. I found myself not wanting to put it down. What a wonderful debut! I’ve already pressed it into the hands of my 22 year old daughter. Can’t wait to hear what she thinks of it!
