Based on the amount of 4 and 5 star reviews this book has received, I was really optimistic going into this that it’d be a new favourite of mine. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me. I found the story to be extremely repetitive; I may have loved it if it was 200 pages shorter. I was also annoyed by a lot of the characters actions, and found some scenes to be just too graphic. This wasn’t a terrible book by any means.. but it was just okay for me.
