You're Never Weird on the Internet by Felicia Day

5.0

I'm not a fan of memoirs, for the most part, but this is a pretty spectacular book. Felicia Day writes in this very playful tone, which makes it almost difficult not to laugh at every page. She delves deep into her home-schooled background with picturesque anecdotes. Relives extremely awkward situations, which are written in a manner that they make you cringe, just like she does as she's experiencing them. She also takes you through a very emotional and what seems to be very difficult to write about phase of her life. Throughout it all, you're laughing and only truly getting to know what it is that makes Day who she is. It's an inspirational memoir about what it takes to follow your dreams and why you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are (weirdness and all).
