Boys of Brayshaw High by Meagan Brandy
5.0
I could not get enough of this book! Every spare minute that I've had since picking it up was spent reading it...it's that good! Poor girl Raven is thrust into the wealthy world of the Brayshaw Boys, Maddoc, Royce, and Captain. Fitting in has always been tough for Raven, but fitting in at Brayshaw is much, much harder...not that she wants to anyway. When the boys take her under their wing, Raven experiences an internal battle between wanting to be a loner and wanting to belong. As the story (and sexual tension) develops, we begin to see the darkness that lurks not only in Raven's past but in the Brayshaw's present. The author gives great detail and insight into both the main and supporting characters and the world she's built for them to live in is so realistic and believable. But there is just enough pieces missing from each person that leaves you wondering what they're hiding and what we're going to find out about them later. Unfortunately, the book does end in a cliffhanger, but it was definitely enough to keep me salivating until the next installment arrives.
