Read this one on audiobook.
I enjoyed this book A LOT more than I enjoyed Illuminae. The characters are a major improvement, and I think since the plot takes place on one station over the course of weeks, but mostly contained in a day it makes the plot much more tighter and easier to understand.
I am still bothered by the deus ex machina of everyone living, I don't know what I'm going to do when I read the third book and the male love interest dies in the last third again only to reveal that ITS NOT WHAT I THINK IT IS~
Whatever, if you read these imo audiobook is the way to go, unless you think the format is actually cool. Imo, while I understand this book is more visual I don't think I'd enjoy reading the surveillance reports, IM conversations, etc without hearing it via audiobook. I would definitely have gotten bored.
