Filled with racist tropes about Indigenous people. The author made the antagonist an Anishanabee man, and she appropriated, misused, and abused Anishanabee legends and language to define said antagonist and his twisted motivations. The antagonist would describe his lifestyle (aka kidnapping a girl for a wife, horribly abusing her and their child, torturing people, animal abuse, etc) as the "Indian way", and there was nothing in the narrative to counter these blatant lies and stereotypes the author wrote.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, Racism, and Sexual violence
