I liked this book so much more than The Notebook! I was really enjoying it throughout the entire thing, but then

when I got to that twist at the end!

THAT WAS SO WONDERFUL! I actually cried. And for once in a Nicholas Sparks book it wasn't because of a tragedy!

I've owned a physical copy of this book for years (possibly a full decade) and I've never actually really wanted to read it because I did not really like The Notebook all that much when I first read it, so I thought for sure that this sequel would be awful. I'm so glad that I finally read it and I'm so glad that it proved me wrong!
