Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
4.0
I’ve loved the 2 other Kristin Hannah books I’ve read - The Great Alone and The Women. While this isn’t my favorite I definitely enjoyed it. I loved the glimpses of the 80s and 90s. I also loved that the location was almost like a character. I loved the friendship that was at the heart of the book. However, I was more compelled and connected to the marriage and the relationship between the mom and teenage girls (Kate as the teenage girl and then the mother). I think that’s because Tully often felt selfish to me. Of course by the end I was fully engaged with it all. Kristin Hannah does not disappoint!
