I’m usually not one to read slow paced, cozy fantasies, but I thought I’d branch out and try something new. I did get the sense that a whole lot of nothing happened and then in the last 60 pages or so a lot happened plot wise. However, it was kind of nice to just enjoy the characters and get to see a little slice of their life. The characters are all super enjoyable, and pot roast is my favorite with satchel being a close second. I was glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to read this, but it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea.
