3.5 stars. I feel very mixed about this book. The writing was gorgeous and the author really brought the place to life in this story. However I felt the transitions between POV’s was jarring. I also felt the story had a lot of lulls. A couple of times I wanted to stop reading it. The story itself is interesting but the book could have been shorter. I may read the second part.
