I actually have a lot of thoughts about the way stein writes her characters, like they are some of the oddest people and yet the partners always feel well matched. This one is erotic as you would expect but what’s gonna stick with me is the voice of her two MCs and how she was able to write them in such a poignant way despite the acknowledgment of some pretty significant trauma.
