Tilly and the Bookwanderers by Anna James
Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.
The beginning was great, the descriptions about Tilly, her grandparents, and their bookshop exudes coziness and the introduction of characters such as Alice and Anne takes back readers to recollect about their own experiences of loving a character. This actually compelled me to reread Anne of Green Gables again, however that wasn't enough. The whole big plot wasn't introduced until halfway into the book and by that time I was already bored, so I put this book down and never had the desire to actually pick it up again. So, to save myself from wasting time on things I'm not interested in, I would rather not finish this and find other books
