You definitely don't have to read book 1, Was I Ever Here, but I definitely recommend that you do.

This one is a little bit darker than Was I Ever Here.

I'm not a big marriage of convivence reader but I really like how Naomi did it in this book. Connor and the "my wife" throughout the book? holy hotness

And I loved the little reincarnation thrown in at the end
