Enjoyed this book more than I thought I would! I’ve read quite a few And Then There Were None inspired mysteries but this is definitely my favourite by far.
Feeney’s writing has a fluidity to it that is great for mystery and suspense; her ability to use her writing to drag out certain scenes and speed up others gives the book a wonderfully thrilling pace.
The only issue I had with the book was the random insertion of ‘deep’ phrases, at first I was like okay this is nice but near the end I was like I really do not care what you’re comparing time and families to right now just let me get into the story!!!
All in all though, a really great book!
