The book is sci-fi-y without being too fantastical. It truly hums and vibrates in a way that gently stirs and then settles you. Cannot recommend this enough.
I think I would have read through faster if every few pages I didn't stop to save and write down a quote (I prepared for this book to be super introspective). The back of the book has a review that says that reading the book "felt like a warm cup of tea made by someone who loves me" and I couldn't agree more.
