Aya Ling remains one of my favorite authors.

Her writing is both imaginative and fun. She takes typical fantasy tropes and ideas, making them feel completely new every time she puts words to page. I hope the wait isn’t long for the next book because I need to see what happens next for Chiara and the prince.
